- home runs (49), and RBIs (122). He also led
- the Orioles to the 1966 World Series, where
- they swept the Dodgers in four games. That
- season, Frank was the American League
- MVP and the World Series MVP.

- Frank was not the fastest runner on the base
- paths, but he had great instincts. He reached
- double figures in stolen bases for nine
- straight years. As a hitter, he crowded the
- plate, daring pitchers to drive him back. (As
- a rookie, he was hit by a pitch 20 times --
- a rookie record.) He was tough in the
- field, too, earning a Gold Glove in 1958.
